Hi,

I have a housekeeping job of RMM which also ejects tapes. Now I am trying to figure out how does he eject tapes based on what criteria and where is that criteria defined to him and how. My client has started to write to 3590 which is in 3494 tape library recently from 3490's which were standalones and will be sending the tapes offsite for 7 years. He is not happy with the idea that I eject them using the panels on my own.

Probably the VRS records defined to RMM

I see this in my housekeeping job

Now SYSU.RMM.VRSEL.REPORT is this VRS dataset that has definitions?

This is extract of it if this till now is correct where can I change the VRS settings any dorections?

You need to find out who is responsible for maintaining the records and talk to them about it

Be very careful changing anthing in RMM. Your results can be disastrous! If you do not know what you are EXACTLY doing then do NOT do it.
