How the ACS selecting the storage class

Please take more time considering how to word your request. Unfortunately this can sometimes be difficult. . .

From what you just posted, i am not sure of what you are asking

If i understand at all, you probably need to talk with your storage administraton people and they can tell you how this is done on the system you use.

If your question is how might a job specify an sms class, the jcl parameter is DATACLAS.

The ACS routines are site specific - you need to talk to your storage people.
