HOW TO READ A SPAN RECORD USING MOVE

Hi,

Can anyone help me how to read a span record in VSAM using MOVE,
Is it possible to read a span record?

I want to be sure that all of us understand your terminology
  • By MOVE, do you mean a VSAM option to copy input records to a data area provided by your program?
  • By SPAN, do you mean VSAM records that extend over 2 or more VSAM control intervals?
I hope and believe most of us will agree my definitions are the more common definitions, but I could be wrong.
