Hi Friends,

We faced some issue with KSDS file. Is it possible to increase the KSDS file size is more than 4 GB.

Yes, you will need to speak to your storage management people to find out the correct DATACLAS and STORCLAS to use for extended VSAM facilities, or if you are not permitted to use them directly in the JCL for the cluster define, to tell them the dataset name so that this can be done via the SMS ACS routines.

It may also be a good idea to see if there are any SMS classes for data compression to reduce the amount of space being used if they have not yet implemented the extended facilities.
