How do we use VSAM files in batch Cobol Programs.

For eg: Can I use a VSAM file as a input/output file to a cobol program . If yes how will the SELECT clause , FD entry etc be coded . How will the file be opened and written to and closed ?

You can use VSAM files in COBOL programs.
