Strip off VSAM records

Hi All
I need to strip off some records in a VSAM file based on a particular criteria and then copy the data in a PS to do some further processing with it.
Can anyone help as to how do i proceed?

I'd use a SORT. Which product (DFSORT or SYNCSORT) do you have?
