Heelo,
i can't find if there 's a limit for the number of DASD Volume in a Storage Groupe (or a recomandation).
Example :

Is it recommanded t have ore tha 10 DASD volume in 1 Storage Group ?

No recommendation ... You just define the number of volumes You need.
1,2,3,...,gazillions

if there were a limit,
probably some large organisation would have already complained about it

with 3390 model 27 or even better model 54 , even the traditional number 256 would give quite a large space
