I want ot use HLLAPI from Windows environment, to automatically start PCOM and logon to an MVS system, issue predefined cmds there and capture the result (from the screen) which then can be alanysed in subsequent steps. I have written a short code to logon to IMS, issue display cmds but to do that i proceeded from an existing code i found. After some workaround i managed to customize it to my needs, however i tend to learn more about a pgm/tool i use. Copying a code has got the disadvantage of 'not having any understanding of what one uses.' I have found some documentations but not one, which i can use to start from scratch.
