Sending text to a field number.

Postby PuddinPie » Thu Jan 30, 2014 10:47 pm

Hell All,

I’ve been looking all over for an answer and have been coming up dry so I thought I would ask here.
I’m not sure if it’s possible but I’m trying to send test to a field number ie.

I do a refresh on my field list - autECLPSObj.autECLFieldList.Refresh
I know that field 25 is the field where I need to enter my text. Is there a way to say send text to field 25 instead of saying send text to a column and row location?
The reason I’m asking is because depending on where the command line is it can change the field row number or column number.

Thank you in advance for your help.

When I tell somebody to RTFM or STFW I usually have the page open in another tab/window of my browser,
so that I am sure that the information requested can be reached with a very small effort

It's pulling the information from a TSO instance.

Hello,

Is most of the activity being done in PCOMM? Are the field numbers part of the PCOMM code?

This may also be an issue for PCOMM support. . .
Hope this helps,
d.sch.
