You'll find all of the FTP commands that z/OS supports documented here although I think it's better to logon to the FTP server and use HELP to determine what commands it supports.

You did not really ask any questions. So I made up my own. Though, I only supplied the answers.
1. You cannot FTP an entire PDS. The server will not understand the directory information that is used to manage the members. You have to use MGET for individual members or create XMIT files first.
2. For files created by the XMIT command, use BIN then PUT. To FTP to another z/OS, you have to make sure the new dataset is FB80.
