Hi,

If i am not wrong the IP's physical address is called as Host id. Could anyone please guide me to find the physical address for an LPAR(IP : XXXX.DDD.EEE.CC) .

Contact your site support group. Depending upon the configuration of the LPAR, and whether your site wants to avoid possible single points of failure, there could be multiple IP addresses assigned to the LPAR. The IP address (or addresses) is stored in the TCP/IP configuration parameters for the LPAR.
