If i am not wrong the XMIT is applicable only when JES is shared between two different LPARS. Here in our shop the two LPARS have a seperate JES.

Two JES2 systems can be connected using shared SPOOL; when this is done the two JES2 systems, running in two LPARs can be thought of as a single JES2 system.
