So simple to answer and it shows that there were no need for the JCL here. As I said:

just a repeated show of stubbornness and unwillingness to listen on Your side

without seeing the jcl how could have anybody guessed that the <SORTOUT> was routed to a sysout dataset ??? :evil:

Sorry. Maybe the fact that this does not occur if write the sortout to a dataset ...

OUTFIL BUILD=(1,4,6)

or

Select all

OUTFIL BUILD=(2,79)
