Is it possible to compare two files and abend the job if compare fails?

Ex:

File-A contains a number 1000
File-B contains a number 1001
The two numbers are NOT equal the job should abend.

I know using JOINKEYS but don't know how to abend it !!

Please suggest.

At this time, I do not believe that there is a SyncSort PARM or control statement that will do this easily. Let me look into this further and get back to you.

Is it possible to get some kind of return code if not abend?
