Combine 2 rows of records into 1

Hello, it's my first post in this forum.. can somebody please give me an idea on how to accomplish this Using syncsort?

I have 2 files, content of file 1 is:

0000012 000001

Content of file 2 is:

0000018

Desired output is:

0000018 000002

Note : 000001 in file 1 is incremented by 1
