Setup (Assembler)

Setup (Assembler)

Postby RISCCISCInstSet » Mon Nov 07, 2011 8:49 pm

I'm looking for a setup macro I'm missing for my IBM Assembler code. I have already done several web searches to find it - do you know where to find it, in any "form"?

Since SETUP is not a standard macro for Assembler, it is not at all surprising that you cannot find it via web searches. Most likely, you either get it from whoever gave you the code in the first place, or you create the macro yourself based on what it is supposed to do.

Wait, I've got the macro but the program isn't detecting it (z390 emulator)(Got it in the mac directory). :( How does that happen, and do you know what I can do to fix it?

For the tecnicalities of your environment, don't you feel you'd get better response from a z390 forum?

it happens because You did not care to read and follow the z390 setup instructions
You can fix it by reading and following the z390 setup instructions

When I tell somebody to RTFM or STFW I usually have the page open in another tab/window of my browser,
so that I am sure that the information requested can be reached with a very small effort
