Hi All,

Right now i am working as a Project Manager.I have 4+ years of web development.My key area is html,css,javascript.I am also having knowledge about .net.
Now i was thinking about changing my career,since for some time i have spent lots of time in the management.So i thought i will learn .net and then jump in to the programming field.

But i am really confused at this stage.Is learning Mainframe at this situation is a good idea ?

Any suggestion is greatly appreciated

Only you can resolve your confusion. . .

The mainframe has been around for a long time and will continue to be around for a long time. The web has now been around for a while ant will also continue to be around for a long time. What do you want to do? Do you want to work with "things" or work with people?

The suggestion i most often offer is that one should pick something they really, really like to do. You will spend most of your life working at "something" so it needs to be something you enjoy and look forward to doing.
