what happened when You tried to help Yourself by googling for example
with "COBOL LINUX"
which returned... About 4,900,000 results (0.18 seconds)

since this a mainframe oriented forum You might find better help somewhere else for non mainframe related things.
cheers
enrico
When I tell somebody to RTFM or STFW I usually have the page open in another tab/window of my browser,
so that I am sure that the information requested can be reached with a very small effort

When you say
Linux mainframe
are you referring to Linux on z/OS or are you referring to a different platform? Although enrico's suggestion to use Google is your best starting point.
