Hello,

Has anyone had experience of specifying a generic MIH value for 3590 drives on a z/VSE system?

Querying the SIR command for MIH displays the following syntax, I'm struggling to find class documented within manuals or hints and tips. It also doesn't appear to allow a range (possible within IECIOSxx on z/OS).

SIR ?
SIR COMMAND HELP

SIR MIH((,<cuu|class>)=<nnnnnn|ON|OFF>) DSPLY/ALTER MIH

Any ideas?
