What's the function of RACF

Why there is less references about RACF than other modules,such as DB2, MVS ,etc?

Perhaps because RACF is used by specialists.

You can get all the information you need from the RACF manuals on the IBM documentation side. Actually, all the information YOU need is in the manuals available at your site - you just need to hunt them down.
The problem I have is that people can explain things quickly but I can only comprehend slowly.

mostly because if the users behaves according to the company rules and standards, they will hardly notice it's presence

When I tell somebody to RTFM or STFW I usually have the page open in another tab/window of my browser,
so that I am sure that the information requested can be reached with a very small effort
