Could you please provide some suggestions/options to provide better/efficient communication method to connect JAVA to Mainframe.
1. Web based application using to store data to IMS/DB and DB2.
2. To generate reports in the webpage by retrieving the data from IMS/DB and DB2

Hello and welcome to the forum,

provide better/efficient communication method
Better than what?

You need to talk with you network/database support and your management to see what is available/planned for use on your system. Individual applicatons do not usually get to pick which software products will be used.
Hope this helps,

if You have a question good forum manners suggest to open a new topic.
rather than resurrecting a 6 years old topic

googling with java ims/db returned 150.000 hits
the first two ( Your mileage will vary ) linked to the relevant IMS manuals
for example
https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgece ... forims.htm
cheers

When I tell somebody to RTFM or STFW I usually have the page open in another tab/window of my browser,
so that I am sure that the information requested can be reached with a very small effort
