How to find dataset creation date through JCL ??

I need to check list of files creation date based on given qualifier using rexx. Please help.

In these forums it is usually inappropriate to add to a 3 year old, very dead topic, especially if the subject matter suggests it really belongs in a different place, like the CLIST & Rexx area.

In addition, JCL cannot manipulate or analyze data in any way. The purpose of JCL is prepare an environment for programs that can manipulate or analyze data. If you can remember this you will find your path through IBM mainframes greatly simplified and much faster.
