Recently got a requirement to code new jobs in which GDG generations are being created at various steps.?
Now, How to check if the GDG is defined for a list of GDGs ? Having all the names in hand.

The list is big and want to know if there is any way which can help me ..

Are you wanting to know if the GDG base is defined for a given set of base names, or are you wanting to know if any generations are defined for a given set of base names, or something else? Furthermore, is this a one-time thing or something you expect to run regularly? Why are you wanting to find out this information -- are you planning on doing something with the output or just satisfy your curiousity?

The long-term solution typically requires running IDCAMS LISTCAT against the GDG base and parsing (using the language of your choice) the LISTCAT output to pull out the desired information.

Want to know if the GDG base is defined. Having a big list of GDG base names to check.
Can we run LISTCAT for all GDG base names at once. ?

Yes, provided they all have a common dataset name format . . . Say if they all have the same high-level qualifiers.
