Hi,

Can anyone help with deleting the PS files. say a 1000 ps files are there and you need to delete it by giving required qualifier like (USERID.**.JCL).

There are many topics on deleting files in the forum. Have you looked to see if your problem has already been resolved?

As a short-cut read up on ADRDSSU and IDCAMS or even writing a little Rexx to generate JCL for an IEFBR14 or individual control cards for IDCAMS.

the DFDSS snippet posted filters also on the reference data
just use the INCLUDE/OMIT clause to filter on the DSNAME pattern

Seen other examples and tried, while deleting only command ENRICO.** -is working out for non migrated ,cant we give command like (ENRICO.**.JCL) ?

It is getting deleted only for the records that are not migrated. So to recall the migrated ones i used ( hrecall 'userid.*' ) am getting message no dsname found.

Please help me get this resolved
