Calling an URL

Postby Pichlmair » Fri Feb 03, 2012 6:03 pm

I want to call an URL out of an 3270 job.
Is it possible and do you have an example of job listing for me?

Have a nice day.

if You want good answers You need to post good questions.

I want to call an URL out of an 3270 job.

the above statement does not make any sense
until You learn to express Your requirement in a clear way the chances of getting help are pretty slim

I just looked at Your profile where it says
Skill set :Consultant

seems that You are overestimating Your skills :geek:
cheers

When I tell somebody to RTFM or STFW I usually have the page open in another tab/window of my browser,
so that I am sure that the information requested can be reached with a very small effort

1. A "3270" is a specific type of IBM mainframe terminal -- and terminals do not run jobs. Hence what you ask is not even possible, period.
2. What do you mean by "call an URL"? Do you mean go to a web site? If not, what DO you mean?
3. Is the URL HTTP:, FTP:, or something else -- and if so, which?

As enrico said in his post, your question as you posted it is completely unintelligable and cannot be answered.
