How to pull the start time and end time of some of the jobs

Hello Everybody,

I have a requirement like i need to pull the start time and end time of some of the jobs from a database for a certain time period.

For e.g-i want start time and end time of all the jobs ran in between 13/9/2010 to 22/10/2010


Can anybody plz help me on this? how i need to proceed as of now i m doing it manually.

How does one pull data from a database using jcl. . . :?

Hi All,

i m very sorry there is a mistake it is nt from the database........it is from a particular region(testing,production......).

Is this another application for the "reinvent the wheel society". In 95% of sites this information is already available from your capacity / performance / billing people. They analyse SMF data on a daily basis and can create reports such as you want in minutes.

Not to worry :)

We need to understand the question before we can make many suggestions ;)

If you look into getting what you from SMF, you will need to learn about the info recorded in SMF (which is much more than we can undertake in a forum).

As Expat mentions, what you are looking for most likely already exists.
