Restart step in jcl

Restart step in jcl

Hi,
I have 10 steps in jcl, I want to execute step2,4,6,8 only.Please give solution.

Hello and welcome to the forum,

You might use IEBEDIT:
http://publibz.boulder.ibm.com/cgi-bin/ ... 0/CONTENTS

Or you might simply make a copy of the complete job and delete what you don't want to run. . .

Hello,

You need to explain why the number of records has anything to do with the jcl restart. . . :?
