dont want to execute 1st step



JES, JES2, JCL utilities, IDCAMS, Compile & Run JCLs, PROCs etc...

dont want to execute 1st step

Hi All ,

In a job we have 10 steps,
I dont want to execute 1st step, is it possible without the use of RESTART...

I'd like to know why you want to restrict the response away from the best option?

Anyway, you can code COND=ONLY for the first step.

You can use the IEBEDIT utility to selectively run any job steps.
