A note: JCL symbols, like procedures, are expanded on the system which translates the JCL, which may not be the system where the job executes. In other words, unless you only have one system (in which case the &SYSNAME would be be moot anyway), you cannot rely on the &SYSNAME value having the executing system name as value. I seem to recall the JCL Reference Manual talking about this.
