Hello,

I want to write every alternate record from a file to another PS file.
So, in other sense it kind of means that I do not want every alternate record to be written to the o/p file.
Is it possible to perform the required action using any Utility, say IDCAMS or DFSORT.

Please let me know the solution though JCL in case I don't want to use a COBOL program.

Have a look at DFSORT's SAMPLE on OUTFIL.
