Is this not just a job for disp=(mod,delete,delete)?In my jcl ,the 1st step is delete step,if the data set is existing,I want to delete,that one ,if dataset is no existing,I do not want abend the job,how can I code in disp?
It may be that i do not understand the requirement, but the way i read the question it is not an issue of which utility or language. . .
On the other hand, i've been known to mis-read some things. . . .
