Good morning.
I have one question.
Can we move aphanumeric data to comp-3.
I did it on id bt it did not give any abend or compilation error. Bt some one said, it is not possible...Please give me explanation........

If you were able to do it and someone says that you can't, try to guess who is right.

You can consult the Programming Guide and Language Reference as well.

This question comes up frequently on this forum. It has been repeatedly answered, and the manuals also tell you the answer. If you have trouble understanding what you read, come back to us and we can clarify but there is no reason for us to read the manual for you -- you need to do that.
