cobol files program

hi
i need a logic two compare to sorted sequential files and write the matched ones to output file.
please give me some suggestions

This would appear to be a fairly standard 2 file match program the basics of which shpuld be found in almost any text. In fact there is a sample program at the top of the COBOL section of this forum.
The problem I have is that people can explain things quickly but I can only comprehend slowly.
