Usually just looking at the top of a compile listing page will tell you....

Thanks. That's what I thought. But the top of the compile listing has: IBM COBOL for OS/390 & VM 2.2.0
IBM is trying to charge a CPU upgrade fee if we have COBOL II. I have done some looking around on the web; some things point to COBOL II and some point to enterprise COBOL. The guy who was responsible for this retired and left no documentation. I also have to deal with a software company that changes the names of its products every 2 - 3 years, so that makes me wonder if IBM COBOL for OS/390 & VM 2.2.0 was renamed from/to something else. I just don't know.

Thanks again for your reply.

Hello,

On the systems i've supported/used, the Enterprise COBOL heading was
PP 5655-G53 IBM ENTERPRISE COBOL FOR Z/OS 3.4.1

I'd suggest talking with your IBM rep (or maybe your purchasing person) to see what is on record as being your licensed products.
Hope this helps,
