Hi,

Since i couldn't find any topic for CA-Jobtrac, i am posting it here. Can any one help me how to check the count of defined jobs in Jobtrac. I want to know how many jobs are defined in jobtrac. Is there any command available in jobtrac ?

replying to forum questions is :

on voluntary basis
on the responder own time

on the benevolence factor of the TS
on the interest of the topic
knowledge of the topic

so if nobody answered ....

it is usually contrary to forum etiquette to solicit for answers
( even after two days )
it will certainly lower Your benevolence factor ;)

mild suggestion, why not search the CA-jobtrac documentation Yourself ?
or if You have the need to know why not ask Your scheduling support "

why would You be interested on how many jobs are defined to jobtrac,
what difference could it make for Your work it they were 5000 or 12000
a large organisation might have thousands defined
cheers
enrico
When I tell somebody to RTFM or STFW I usually have the page open in another tab/window of my browser,
so that I am sure that the information requested can be reached with a very small effort

Enrico,

I am from scheduling team. Now I wrote a JCL to pick the count, in jobtrac there is no command to pick the count. Just thought of checking if there is command available or not.
