Hi!
the output shows '0' and '-' in column 9 all pages
1.i want to omit and shows the result
2. result shows in right corner of the page
the result shows in beginiing of the page
3. each i dont want header i want header first page only
this is the code i have it
but it gives the errror in omit
OPTION COPY
OMIT COND=(9,1,CH,EQ,C'-',OR,(9,1,CH,EQ,C'0')
result page
REPORT RPT2 NOSPREAD SUMSPACE 0 PRINTER SYSPRT1
for header it shows from input i want only in first page

You need to post some sample input data (use the Code tag) and the output you want from that sample input. You need to mention the relevant data positions and the "rules" for getting form the input to the output. Also, mention the recfm and lrecl of the files.

You mention an Easytrieve question (as this is the Easytrieve part of the forum), but have posted what looks like sort control statements. . .

It is not at all clear what you want . . .

Suggest you post some sample input and then the output you want from that exact sample. Does the code that is running use REPORT to generate output?

To do what you want, you may need to simply write an output file rather than a report. . .

An output file is defined with the same syntax as an input file:
FILE TESTFILE FB(80 6160)
and then name the fields.

We don't have any "standard" training or demos on this site. We try to keep up with questions, but are not able to provide training.

You posted an edit change command - which will change things. To "write code" simply key the code into the file/member.
