Copy records into KSDS file with new key structure

Hi,

I want to copy records from an exeisting KSDS file into new KSDS file having a different key structure. Is this possible using SORT utility.

Why don't you try it and see? If it does not work check the manual for correct syntax (and to see what it has on the subject) and proceed from there. If you have already tried it and not succeeded it would help if you had let us know and show us the problem that you have.
The problem I have is that people can explain things quickly but I can only comprehend slowly.

Hello,

Why is there a concern? If the new DEFINE is correct, what problem might you have?

Once you try this, post back telling us if it worked or if something did not work.
