Sort based on date in MMDDYYYY format

Hi, I have a requirement where my input file has date in MMDDYYYY format and i have to sort and include only the records which has date < currentdate - 28 days in the output file.

When I tell somebody to RTFM or STFW I usually have the page open in another tab/window of my browser,
so that I am sure that the information requested can be reached with a very small effort
