Both sort card produced same results.

Your screenshot shows IN=C',',OUT=C' '.
Besides testing INOUT fails for me:

Select all

           FINDREP=(STARTPOS=300,ENDPOS=339,INOUT=(C',',C' '))   
                                                              $  
ICE007A 0 SYNTAX ERROR

Also your screenshots shows columns 501-572!
