Missing Word with substring

Hello,

i just want to know if a word is ia dataset. But if the word dosn't exist in the dataset, i would like an RC =8 or more...

I used this sysin

Select all

//SYSIN    DD *                            
  SORT FIELDS=COPY                          
  INCLUDE COND=(1,80,SS,EQ,C'WORDCHECKED')
//*
 


But even if the word is not inthe dataset, the RC is 0...

what is wrong about reading the manual
and meditate on the OPTION control statement ?

When I tell somebody to RTFM or STFW I usually have the page open in another tab/window of my browser,
so that I am sure that the information requested can be reached with a very small effort

What the flucking 'ell is wrong with the SuperC? It has a option to search!

Finally, i'm testing if the output dataset is empty. If it is empty, there's no word.
