Loading Records - Batch and DB2 connect

Dear All,

We observed when a DB2 tester inserting Records using DB2 connect consumes more ASM(DSN1DBM1) but when it is done via batch the server performance is good. Could anyone please enlighten me why DB2connect consumes more ASM than the batch process.

Hello,

Possibly because there is more overhead associated with the DB2 Connect interaction. This is probably not something the developer/coder has much control over.
