Hello,

Suggest you work with your dba to determine why the buffers are full (other than they are supposed to be). Especially if things have worked well before some recent change.

If is not a good idea to go about just increasing things. . .
Hope this helps,

any reason to suggest to alter the buffer pool sizes without having done a bit of analysis of the buffer pool behavior ???
cheers

When I tell somebody to RTFM or STFW I usually have the page open in another tab/window of my browser,
so that I am sure that the information requested can be reached with a very small effort

I know the method to increase the VPSIZE of the particular Bufferpool.

I just give a hint to kranthi_2k11, there by kranthi_2k11 will learn some new things.
