Hi,

I know we can access db2 from rexx. But in our mainframes system, we couldnt access db2 from rexx. Our experts do say, we arent allowed to access db2 from rexx.

My question is, how to know what are all the access we have? where to check them? why this access is not given?

If your systems people say that you CAN NOT access DB2 via REXX then they would probably have disabled the interface.

Why can't you do it, well ask the people who set the rules because we on the forum can have absolutely no ideas at all.

Your security admin might be a good place to ask what access you have and don't have, but of course may wish to know why you are asking
