After writing the SQL query , here we used to prepare explain reports for those in order to check the optimisation of that query. But our DBAs will review those reports and suggest whether it is optimised or not . My doubt is by seeing which fields in explain report we can say that the query is optimised?

Suggest you talk with your DBAs and find out what they consider important. . . Opinions vary and the local DBAs should have the best knowledge what is good and not good on your system. . .
