Hi...
In CICS, while desigining a map how to make password appear in dots format or cross form instead of giving dark attribute?

plz give me the mapp attributes.

Why not read up about map attributes and see if there is another way?

"I've always thought displaying Xs or dots rather than "nothing" is less secure than displaying "nothing," which is all a 3270 can do. The problem with displaying something, as in Windoze, is an onlooker can readily see how long the hidden item is. The problem with the 3270 "nothing" is an onlooker can still see the cursor move.
