Hello,

In IBM documentation on the description of possible commands in the CEDA, I stumble on the distinction between the commands DISPLAY and EXPAND. I do not see too subtle!

Suggest you copy/paste the confusing info from whichever document you are reading and your doubt.

Someone here may be able to clarify.

From the Resource Definition Guide manual:

3.2.8 The CEDA DISPLAY command
Display one or more group names, list names, or resources on a full screen panel.

and

3.2.9 The CEDA EXPAND command


Show the resource definitions in one or more groups or lists. This command has been retained for compatibility with previous releases.

If you're asking this type of question, you would be well advised to find a copy of this manual for your version of CICS and read it cover to cover.
