hi,

i am trying to issue cics commands from mvs consoles.
please find the steps i followed to use issue the commands.

step1: define the terminal in cics using CEDA DEF TER(GET) GROUP(CONTERM)
step2:define the console name in console class and permitted required access.
step3: installed the terminal in cics and it was successfully installed
step4: wen i came to tso and issue this command f cics,'cemt i task' . i am getting following error.

+DFHAC2032 CICS1 CICS autoinstall for console A201802 has failed.

help me for issuing commands . if my steps are wrong kindly correct me.

You say you are trying to issue the command from an MVS console - so why are you trying to issue the command from a TSO console?

Apology for my mistake . That is MVS console and my issuing commands from tso region.

TSO region?

Some necessary questions:
What version of CICS and z/OS are you using? Do you have a CICS specialist in your company and what is your position (are you a system programmer)? There are RACF and security issues involved here too. All these issues may involve several people at your site. The big question - are you even authorized to be doing this?

You've defined and installed a static terminal named GET and you're getting another terminal autoinstalled when you're issuing your commands, so obviously the problem here is you're on the wrong terminal.
