hi,
can any one tell me how to access vsam files in cics region? steps to fallow in cics region? i tried with esds file. but am getting error aeip. it is invalid request.
is it mandatory to declare esds-RBA in working storage secton?

Follow the recommendation in your other post. . . Download and refer to Vsam Demystified.

Also suggest you find a few working programs on your system and clone one of these for your testing. It is seldom a good idea to start from scratch - unless your program is to be the very first cics/vsam program on the system (which is highly unlikely).
