Hello all,
in my cics screen i have to accept username and password. when i enter user id it appears as it is. when i am trying to enter the password, it appears to be with Astrix (*****). how can we do this one

Here is a hint for you: the CICS Language Reference manual has absolutely no references to "asterisk" nor to "*". What does that tell you?

The standard, accepted method in CICS to hide data is to use the dark attribute, which prevents the data from being displayed on the screen.
