i have 2 questions
1) where to set the transaction dump data set
2) how to view which dataset is set as transaction sump data set

CICS dump data sets are allocated to DFHDMPA and DFHDMPB DD names in the CICS region JCL. I don't recall for sure but I don't think they can be dynamically changed -- only through changing the region JCL (but don't quote me on that). CEMT I DUMPDS will show you whether the A or B data set is active.
